The Name Our Storm campaign was first introduced by Met Éireann and the Met Office (UK) in 2015 and were joined by the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) in its fifth storm season 2019/20. There were 11 named storms during the 2015/16 storm season which ran from Tuesday 1 September 2015 to Wednesday 31 August 2016 (inclusive).
