Patchy rain moved southwards and cleared during the morning. Dry and bright conditions followed in the afternoon with a few isolated showers. Later in the evening, further outbreaks of rain spread south from the north.

An associated occluding system tracked northeastwards across the country during Monday. The day was generally cloudy and wet, with fog patches persisting at times through the day and into the evening, particularly in the West. Rain moved northeastwards across Ireland during the morning, clearing by late afternoon and giving way to showers and some clear spells. Later in the evening, rain associated with Storm Chandra spread across Ireland from the southeast and continued overnight. Light and variable winds became easterly overnight, strengthening to fresh to strong and gusty conditions.

A broad depression centred in the mid-Atlantic maintained a mostly fresh to strong southeast airflow over Ireland. The day was mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain, though it remained dry for the morning in the North. More persistent and heavy rain later moved into the Southwest, spreading northeastwards. The night saw continued outbreaks of rain, which were most persistent in the North and East.

This morning, rain and blustery conditions affecting the south and west gradually extended northeastwards across the country. A brief clearance with sunny spells and isolated showers followed in the wake of the rain, before further outbreaks of rain moved into the southwest later. Fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds eased to moderate to fresh conditions behind the rain. During the evening, conditions were generally cloudy at first, with outbreaks of rain spreading from the southwest. Rain became lighter and more patchy as the night progressed, with clear spells developing. More persistent rain returned to the southwest towards morning.

The day was dominated by a mature Atlantic low passing to the west of Ireland. An occluded band of rain crossed the country overnight and early morning, bringing mostly light to moderate rainfall, heaviest in the Midlands, before clearing eastwards by mid-morning. Behind it, brighter conditions developed with scattered showers, mainly affecting northern and eastern areas and Atlantic-facing coasts. Winds were fresh to strong, strongest along exposed northern coasts, easing gradually through the day. The day ended largely dry for most, with the next Atlantic system approaching the southwest later.
