A slow-moving depression of 998 hPa between Ireland and Iceland generated a fresh to near-gale force southwesterly airflow over Ireland. Showers, some heavy, spread from the west and moved east during the night. Showers continued to feed in from the west during the day and became mostly confined to the north and west by the evening. They largely died away by night. It was windy along Atlantic coasts during the day, easing somewhat by the evening.

An anticyclone of 1035 hPa centred in the mid-Atlantic extended a transient ridge over the country and generated a moderate to fresh northwest airflow. A depression of 991 hPa centred just south of Iceland tracked north of Ireland and extended a gale-force southwest airflow over Ireland. Clear spells and dry conditions throughout the morning and early afternoon gave way to rain developing in the West and spreading eastward, with heavy falls at times. Conditions became windy and gusty, especially along the Atlantic coasts. Overnight, the rain cleared eastwards, leaving scattered showers as winds gradually eased.

The associated front cleared from the east and was followed by showery troughs embedded in the flow. The remaining rain from the previous day cleared eastwards during the early hours. Breezy conditions prevailed afterward, with a mix of sunshine and scattered showers throughout the morning and early afternoon. Showers became less frequent by evening, though they remained persistent in the north.

A secondary depression centred over southern Wales tracked northwards over Britain and the Irish Sea. Spot flooding was reported in Dublin. Afternoon brought brief sunny spells to the South and West though heavy showers and thunderstorms continued. Ireland lay in a fresh southwest airflow between low pressure over Iceland and high pressure over the Bay of Biscay. Frontal troughs continued to track northeastwards over Ireland throughout the day. It remained cloudy overall with outbreaks of drizzle throughout the day. Those were most persistent across the west and northwest with long dry spells elsewhere. Some sunny spells appeared across the East during afternoon.

Ireland lay in a fresh to strong southwest airflow between a depression centred south of Iceland and a broad anticyclone centred near the Azores. A front associated with the depression stalled across Ireland. It stayed cloudy through night and into morning with some outbreaks of drizzle. Patchy drizzle continued on and off through morning and afternoon. Drier and brighter conditions spread from the West through late afternoon and evening with sunny spells best in the West and the North.

High pressure of 1026 hPa remained slow-moving over Europe, extending a weak ridge northwest over Ireland during the morning. A weak front lay across the country. The morning was cloudy and humid, with mist and drizzle affecting western and southern areas. Patches of fog along coastal parts of the west and south gradually cleared, giving way to brighter and sunnier intervals in the afternoon, though parts of the south coast remained foggy, cloudy, and misty. The evening was mainly dry, with just a few isolated showers in the East and North.

Ireland lay in a mostly moderate to fresh southwesterly airflow between an anticyclone of 1027 hPa centered over mainland Europe and a depression of 992 hPa located approximately 390 nautical miles northwest of Malin Head. An associated waving front lay over northwest Ireland. Cloudy conditions dominated, with rain and drizzle spreading eastwards, heaviest in western and northern areas before easing later in the afternoon. Eastern and southeastern regions remained mostly dry. Overnight, rain cleared eastwards, leaving drier conditions and clear spells in the west, while mist and drizzle persisted in the southeast along with some mist patches.
